EN/ On 09.10 OldSkulls hosted the debut concert of Glorify the Essence. The band has four released singles. At the show we heard both their original material and several covers. Before them, OMRAZ and Blackwater took the stage. The evening was filled with positive emotions and great music. The crowd wanted more! The boys made a great debut and I recommend seeing them live!
Glorify the Essence started as a solo project by their vocalist Kris. "Glorify the Essence started back in 2017, but back then it was a completely different genre - more of a technical death metal project. In the meantime I joined many other bands and abandoned the project. Over time I felt like making heavier music again and asked Suni if he wanted to join on bass. So in 2025 we revived Glorify the Essence and have been working hard ever since." - Kris shares. The current lineup consists of Stanislav Kyuldzhiev (bass), Kristiyan Kukushev (vocals and guitar), Martin Dinkov (backing vocals), Yavor Dimov (guitar) and Yaroslav Krinski (drums).
The boys also share that their work is going smoothly. Kris and Stanislav write the lyrics and music together. They draw inspiration from their favourite bands as well as from history and the world around them. They are currently in the process of recording their debut album.
I can't wait to hear more from Glorify the Essence and I wish them all the best!
