I’m Mihaela Filipova Mishlenka - a concert photographer and an aspiring music journalist based in Sofia, Bulgaria. I started Balkan Pit to give my local scene the spotlight it deserves. I fell in love with heavy music in my early teenage years. If I could do only one thing for the rest of my life it would definitely be going to concerts. When I started going to concerts regularly I discovered that the local gigs are just as good as the big arena shows. That’s what I want to showcase in Balkan Pit.
